* Thread Tubes Now Available! *

Thread Tubes Now On Sale !!!:

First, I am very proud to add a new paragraph to my resume:

He is one of the world's foremost authorities on levitations and his work in this field has been admired by major magicians such as Gregory Wilson, Dirk Losander, and Asi Wind. His "thread tube" is the most powerful levitation system ever innovated, and was recently highly recommended by Jeff McBride as being "awesome".

And I am also very proud to announce that my "thread tubes" are now on sale! I hope to deliver the first batch to the Post Office Monday morning!

I have put a "secret video" online detailing what the thread tube is, and how it works. This video is only available to actual magicians - if you are a magician, you can find the secret URL posted at The Magic Cafe  in the "Banquet Room: Threads Reels and Anchors"; in order to access this forum, you must have posted 50 messages at the Magic Cafe.

And I will be in Columbia South Carolina on March 1st at 7:30pm to deliver a lecture to the local ring of the International Brotherhood of Magicians. A $10 fee will be charged at the door, however this fee will be waived for all members of the I.B.M. The lecture will be at the St. Paul Lutheran Church 1715 Bull Street Columbia South Carolina.

I'll be posted a flyer for this in the very near future...

Thank you everyone!

Carl Michael:

Over the last couple of years, I have been coaching a friend of mine - Carl Michael. A young upcoming magician, his cold approach is the absolute strongest I've ever seen, this guy can approach anyone with no fear what-so-ever.

Of course, it's one thing to give advice to a friend from time to time ... but we are still both magicians, which at some level means were are in competition. And I will confess, I have not always been as helpful to him as I could be. And on top of that, some of the local magi think he's a hot shot and I've wanted to keep some distance from him to avoid the "guilt by association"; meaning if they don't like him, they won't like me if I'm his friend helping him.

But you know what ... at this point I don't care what anyone thinks of me! This guy Carl is good people ... he has chops, he has the looks, and most importantly laymen love the guy. After a lot of long hard thinking, I've come to the realization that I can teach him magic ... what I can't do is teach a magician how to be "cool". And this kid is most diffidently without any doubts one of the coolest kat's I've ever hung with.

So I had him over my house last week for a long talk ... he is the first magician to ever be invited to my house, and he is the only magician to ever see my secret studio workshop. He had once wanted to borrow my Super-X levitation, but I told him no - I felt that if he performed the illusion it would dilute it's value when I performed it ... well I told him not only was I going to let him borrow it, I was going to film it for him, and edit it for him, and even let him use my version of the routine done on the beach with a surfboard and beach chairs. Hopefully we'll film that sometime in March before the spring breakers get to town.

In the mean time ... here is a short vid we made in my studio of a four Ace routine he's working on. A work in progress, I want to help him develop this into a full routine and not just a simple trick. I'm very excited about his future ... at my age, I'm never going to achieve the success of David Blaine or Chris Angel ... but there is no reason I can't help this kid get there. He's already been on Snoop Dog's reality show, filmed his first national television commercial, he has opened shows for Uncle Kracker and more recently has been entertaining Vince Neil and Tommy Lee of Motley Crue.

And now I'm proud to be introducing him to my fans...

Jeff McBride's Endorsement:

What did Jeff McBride have to say about my new tube trick?? "Have you seen JoeJoe strip thread? You gotta go see him in the dealers room - it's awesome". And he did it on stage during his lecture to the entire convention floor!!!

What a life changing weekend this has been ... one of David Blaine's chief advisors (Asi Wind) came to my dealer table to see the tube ... about 1/3rd the way through my pitch, his eyes lit up and he goes "THESE ARE FOR WORKERS" ... I'm like "yes, exactly!".

So I'm sitting at the "after party" when someone comes to me and says "Gregory Wilson is in the lobby, he's been looking for you because he wants to see your new tube trick". As I'm heading towards the lobby, I can't help but feel a certain amount of pride in the fact that the Champions of Magic were actually seeking me out!

So what's next??? I am firing up my studio to make a DVD for the tube trick; when the DVD is ready I will put the tubes for sale online. The DVD will cost $49.95 and come with three thread tubes ready to use. You will be able to purchase tubes without the DVD for $15.98. I will have wholesale available, feel free to use the "Contact Form" form to get in touch with me.

And one last note ... I have been informed by John Tudor that the Columbia IBM Ring has voted in favor of me lecturing March 1st. I'll post more on that in the near future... for now, save the date!
